Sclerotherapy

A medical procedure used to eliminate spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of solution (generally a salt solution) directly in to the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to swell and stick together, and the blood clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. Prior to your procedure, you will need to have an initial consultation with one of our doctors who will advise you on your eligibility for sclerotherapy.
